You'll create an account so you can come back to your registration, see your wrestler's schedule and hear from coaches. Fees and family pricing are below.

Who can register

Young 5s through 5th Grade. No wrestling experience is needed.

Registered right away

When you finish, your wrestler is registered — there's no waiting for approval. We'll reach out only if we have questions.

The programs

Open to Young 5s through 5th Grade. Both programs practise in the Chelsea High School Wrestling Room.

Young Dawgs

$100.00for one wrestler

Young 5s–1st Grade

Introductory Wrestling Program

A first taste of wrestling: movement, balance, confidence and basic technique, taught through games and short drills.

Practices
Mondays, 6:00–7:15 PM
Program runs
  • November 2, 2026 – December 17, 2026
Competing
Young Dawgs has no club-scheduled tournaments this season. The focus is practice.

Mat Dawgs

$250.00for one wrestler

2nd–5th Grade

Introductory & Developmental Wrestling Program

Fundamentals taught properly and then built on, over two sessions, for wrestlers brand new to the sport and for those coming back.

Practices
Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00–7:15 PM
Program dates
  • Session 1: November 2, 2026 – December 17, 2026
  • Session 2: January 4, 2027 – February 10, 2027
Competing
Competing is optional. Tournaments are an opportunity for development, not a requirement to participate in Mat Dawgs.

Which program?

  • No wrestling experience is required for either program.
  • Grade is the primary placement factor.
  • A first-time wrestler in 2nd–5th Grade belongs in Mat Dawgs.
  • Young Dawgs is not a prerequisite for Mat Dawgs.

Three or more wrestlers
Family total set by the club

Families with two wrestlers pay one family total rather than two separate fees. With three or more wrestlers the club confirms your family total before asking for payment.

Need equipment?

Optional Equipment Program: Chelsea Wrestling Club may have wrestling equipment available for families who need assistance getting started, including items such as wrestling shoes and headgear. Participation in the equipment program is optional and is not required to register. Families borrowing club equipment may be asked to provide a $50 refundable equipment deposit. Equipment availability is not guaranteed.
